Solvelingua

Terms

The short version: play for your own learning, be kind, and don't misuse the game. The characters are AI and can be wrong. Plus renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time. Last updated 24 October 2026.

Who we are

Solvelingua (the game at play.solvelingua.com and this website) is run by ExSeven, LLC ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By playing or buying anything you agree to them, to our privacy policy and to our refund policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Solvelingua.

Playing

You need to be at least 13 to play. If you're under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian, and you need their permission to buy anything. You can play without an account: your character is kept under a save code. Solvelingua is still being built, so features, content and prices may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable.

Your account

You can sign in with a link by email or with Google, and your characters then come with you to every device where you sign in. Keep your email, sign-in and save codes to yourself: anyone with a save code can play that character. You're responsible for what happens on your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

The characters are AI

The people you meet in the game, the feedback on your language and the phone's translator are made by AI. What they say can be wrong, including about the language, and they aren't real people. Don't rely on them for anything important, such as medical, legal, money or safety matters, and don't share private information with them that you wouldn't want stored with your save.

Rules

Please don't:

What's yours, and what's ours

What you type and say in the game is yours. You let us store it and process it, and send it to the services in our privacy policy, to run the game for you: for the characters to answer and remember you, for feedback, and to fix and improve the game. Feedback and suggestions you send us we may use freely. The game itself (its software, characters, voices, art, music, sounds and lessons) belongs to us or the people we license it from. You may use it through Solvelingua for your own learning.

No warranties. Solvelingua is offered as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will teach you a language to any level.

Limits on liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability for anything to do with Solvelingua is limited to the greater of US$50 and what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Your rights. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the laws where you live.

Disputes. If something goes wrong, please email us first and we'll try to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where ExSeven, LLC is organized, without removing protections the law where you live gives you.

Ending. You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. If we do that without a good reason, we'll refund what's unused of anything you've paid for.

Changes. We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change this page and the date at the top, and for a big change we'll tell players in the game or by email before it takes effect.

The rest. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't giving it up. You can't transfer these terms; we can, if the game changes hands.
